I’m Taran Sohal, a Sydney-based photographer and artist with an insatiable drive to capture the unseen—to turn fleeting moments into visual experiences that move, inspire, and ignite curiosity. Since 2017, my creative journey has taken me across landscapes, into the depths of the cosmos, and through the intricacies of human expression. From portraiture, landscapes to astrophotography , my work is about more than just an image—it’s about emotion, connection, and storytelling.

My work has been recognized by NASA, the BBC, and the Siena Awards, but accolades aren’t what drive me. It’s the magic of light, the silence of space, the untamed beauty of nature, and the rawness of human moments that fuel my passion.
